More AMIs?

Hypothetical Labs - kevin - January 23, 2009

I’ve been thinking about building more Erlang AMIs now that I’ve got my image build process 99% automated. The images I’ve done so far include some general libraries which can be used to build a wide array of things. I’m thinking it would be useful to provide a few specialized images like:

  • CouchDB: using either S3 (via s3fs) or EBS for storage
  • RabbitMQ: AMQP clients for Java, Python, Ruby, and Erlang preinstalled
  • Disco: preconfigured server and client
  • Scalaris
  • Dedicated mnesia node using s3fs or EBS for storage

Do any of these sound useful or interesting to you? Have I missed your favorite piece of Erlang software? Leave a comment and let me know. I’ll compile and post the results in a few days.
