More AMIs?
Hypothetical Labs - kevin - January 23, 2009I’ve been thinking about building more Erlang AMIs now that I’ve got my image build process 99% automated. The images I’ve done so far include some general libraries which can be used to build a wide array of things. I’m thinking it would be useful to provide a few specialized images like:
- CouchDB: using either S3 (via s3fs) or EBS for storage
- RabbitMQ: AMQP clients for Java, Python, Ruby, and Erlang preinstalled
- Disco: preconfigured server and client
- Scalaris
- Dedicated mnesia node using s3fs or EBS for storage
