Mobile Application Developer (iOS and Android), Krakow, Poland

Erlang Solutions - - June 29, 2011

A fabulous new opportunity has arisen in Krakow for recent graduates and undergraduates to work on iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) and Android application development.

Those who join us will need to be able to take responsibility for the end-to-end development of mobile applications on the iOS and Android platforms.

Applicants need:

  •     1 to 3 years experience in mobile application development

  •     For iPhone and iPad, familiarity with the latest OS release using Xcode, experience in Objective-C and object-oriented programming
  •     For Android, experience of the SDK (1.6 to 2.3), Java, Eclipse, solid native and Android user experience design

Ideally you will have familiarity with the complete application development life cycle (including testing), experience in GUI, design and effects, iOS database, SQL, MySQL expertise, local data storage experience, good understanding of platform performance/optimisation techniques and an understanding of semantic data.

To be successful, you need to be ready to work in teams, use the Agile development methodology, and be interested in pushing the limits of the platform.

We are a rapidly expanding company in the niche market of highly scalable enterprise solutions, with English as our business language.

We will be developing applications to address the needs of banks, telecom operators, utility companies, hospitals and social networks across Europe.

If you have answered yes to most of the requirements above, we look forward to hearing from you and meeting you for an interview!

Luckily, your iPhone 4 cases will likely be used as iPhone 5 cases as well. Though the iPhone 5 is reported to be thinner than the iPhone 4, the cases should still cling just as well as if they were specifically made as iPhone 5 cases.
