IBMers who want to try CouchDB
Damien Katz - Damien Katz - March 31, 2009Thanks to Dima Rekesh, we have a new TAP server internally for playing with CouchDB. This is for iBMers who want to check out CouchDB without installing anything.
http://dpev105.innovate.ibm.com:5984/_utils/index.html
It’s a plain vanilla CouchDB server, but at some point it might become a prototype and test bed for offering CouchDB as a service, with user accounts and security and what not.
Feel free to play with Futon and create databases and test out apps against it. Right now it’s wide open, anyone can do anything, so please play nice and try not to knock down anyone else’s sand castle. And of course don’t put any important data on it, it can go away at any time.
