You love interesting, hard-core technical challenges and can handle coding and design for server-side and client-side software for a complete visual analytics system.
What you get to do every day:
Collaborate with stakeholders to produce a design that is scalable and flexible across our different game properties
Execute organized, coherent code to meet those deliverables
Demonstrated proficiency working with large data set and complex code bases
Take ownership of feature development for both client and server side specifications from concept through deployment
What you bring to the role:
B.S. in Computer Science and 5+ years hands-on experience doing software development in a commercial software development environment
Hands-on with two of the following languages: PHP, Python, Java, C++, Ruby, Erlang
Experience developing web applications in a Linux environment – LAMP
Minimum of 3 years with one or more of the following MySQL, postgres, Oracle, MS SQL Server
Working knowledge of front-end technologies – Javascript, CSS, HTML
Desire to assess data sets and perform data visualization as required part of this role
An ability to interact and communicate effectively with others in your team
Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job
Knowledge and passion for interactive entertainment and games is preferred
